A public server holds up to 12 players. BlΞΏx Universe assigns one Cow, one Security, and the rest as Researchers. You do not pick the role. The lobby shows percentages, and those percentages move up for the rarer roles after you spend rounds as a Researcher.
What you do in order
- Wait out the lobby. Spend Cash, equip a cosmetic, and vote a map. Coconut Research Facility, Ice Research Facility, and Arcade Crash have all appeared on the vote screen. Circus and Office Detour are also named maps.
- Read the private role card. The Cow card says you are secretly a cow and to kill everyone. A playthrough's on-screen how-to called the killer Mumu. The Roblox description uses Cow.
- Load the map. If you joined while a round was already going, one event note says to press Shift to free the cursor and click the join prompt.
- Play the role until the Cow is shot, the crew is wiped, or the timer ends. Time running out with crew still alive is a Researcher win. The Cow does not win by hiding until the clock.
- Collect Cash and XP. VIP adds 10 percent to both.

First five rounds
- Rounds 1 and 2, as Researcher: stay within sight of two people. If you die, remember the doorway the Cow used.
- Round 3, if you are Security: do not shoot a sprinting Researcher. Wait for the cow model or a knife.
- Round 4, if you are Cow: take one isolated target, then put the knife away if nobody saw you.
- Round 5: look at the payout, then buy one cosmetic if you want. Hats, guns, and cow skins do not raise your odds of winning.
Cosmetics, emotes, and eye colors are locker options. The shop in one playthrough also sold knives and guns around 150 Cash. That price is from a single session, not a guarantee for every skin.
